Applying to university can seem like a daunting task but, with some planning and preparation, you will be able to write an excellent application. Most applications are due by 25^th January 2023 however some courses have a 15^th October 2022 application deadline (medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, Oxford University and Cambridge University as well as some conservatoire courses). Check what your deadline is and let your DHH know now if you have a deadline that is earlier than the 25^th January.

All resources shared here have also been uploaded onto the ‘UCAS’ channel within the  ‘UCAS 22-23’ Team so it is really simple to access the information you need to get going. From setting up your account, writing your personal statement to what happens after you hit send, most of what you need to know is in this UCAS application guidance PowerPoint. In addition there are extra copies of the tasks that are in the PowerPoint as well as some other useful information. I recommend looking through the full PowerPoint first so you are aware of the various stages of the process and so you know what is expected of you.

For the past few years the University of Stirling has supported our university applicants by visiting our school to deliver presentations to our pupils and families. As this is not possible at the moment they have kindly provided us with webinars on choosing and applying and writing a personal Statement. These are used within the PowerPoint at specific, relevant points but the videos are also available here if you need them.
