Emergency School Closure Advice for Parents/Carers
During periods of emergency school closure we will strive to provide a service by:-
- Keeping the school open whenever possible
- Ensure access to the school is as safe as reasonably possible
- Make every effort to minimise possible disruption to education for our pupils
However, in the event of a school closure the Children’s Services Emergency Planning Team will provide advice to parents/carers of the situation by using the following methods:-

This will provide information on closure, groups affected and updates. It will also provide information for pupils on work that can be undertaken from home through Microsoft Teams. Pupils may also have been instructed where to access other appropriate study materials. These are available on the school website, Glow, Edmodo or directly from Twitter. |

Accessing work at home
In the event of a school closure pupils will still be able to access study materials through Microsoft Teams. Access to Teams is through your child's Glow login. Pupils should then search for Teams in the search bar at the top right of the page or via the app store on your device. Glow logins always end @glow.sch.uk. Use the link below to access Glow
Pupils can also access SQA past papers, BBC Scotland Bitesize or Scholar for general revision.
