To encourage personal reading for enjoyment all pupils in S1 are taking part in the Accelerated Reader scheme.

Pupils read books at an appropriate level then take a quiz on the website each time they finish a book.

Those who score 100% on their quiz put their names on the noticeboard and some are picked each month for small rewards.

Pupils can use books from home or school – to check if a book has been quizzed check the website.
