Minutes of Graeme High School Parent Council Annual Meeting on Thursday 27th November 2008 at 7.00pm in the Assembly Hall
Present: Lesley Carroll, Kate Connochie, Liz Rankine, Fiona Crichton, Anne Stewart, Maxine Mason, Gordon Irving, Donald McKenzie, Claire Alexander, Colin Chalmers, Lorraine Hamilton.
Apologies: Christine Mitchell, Julie Russell
1. Chairperson’s Report
Kate Connochie gave yearly report.
2. HMI Inspection
Lesley Carroll, Headteacher gave powerpoint presentation of initial feedback from HMI Inspection Report.
3. Treasurers Report
Liz gave treasure’s report - agreed by Kate Connochie and seconded by Maxine Mason. £500 has been transferred to the school and the Pupil Council have been asked to bid for money for a project they would like to do.
4. Lottery Grant
Application is now ready to be sent off. Liz gave Kate contact details for the sensory garden.
5. Curriculum DVD
Given back to Kate and available for anyone to look at.
6. Burns Supper on 30th January 2009
Parent Council have offered to help.
7. Next meeting on Tuesday 10th February at 7pm
